Information Ministry Trains Civil Servants to Clearly Understand Labor Law and Job Description

PHNOM PENH: The Ministry of Information led by its Minister, Khieu Kanharith has conducted a training course to 75 civil servants on Tuesday. The training course is for them to widen their understanding of the General Statute of Civil Servants and the structure of the Ministry of Information for the new staff of 2021.

Secretary of State and Chairman of the Human Resources Training Working Group of the Ministry of Information Suny Vongviseth says it aims to provide knowledge and good experience to the trainees who are new officers and officers working in some five General Departments who aim to provide a clearer understanding of the labor law of civil servants and how to perform their work.

The Minister informed that the important thing that new officials need to understand is what are the rights of civil servants, because there are many forms to know and demand to learn about the General Statute of Civil Servants, especially civil servants must be disciplined It is very important. At the same time, he said there must be good communication with all departments, both inside and outside, because there is a lot of work to be done, especially civil servants who pass the entrance exam within the Ministry of Information and they must learn to know at least one foreign language, because there are many tasks very need to communicate. He has added that it will also strengthen the capacity of technological knowledge.
